Ricoh Solution
Ricoh Chile, in collaboration with technology partners, implemented a comprehensive solution for the Universidad de Las Americas, equipping its campuses with workstations, tablets and advanced connectivity technology with Ricoh Device as a Service. In addition, 16 virtual classrooms with Ricoh interactive whiteboards were enabled with videoconferencing systems, including simulation centers that enable more effective hybrid teaching. In addition, collaboration tools, such as high-quality headsets, were provided, improving the technological infrastructure to optimize face-to-face and remote teaching methods.
Results
- Increased End Client Satisfaction: There was an increase of 37.19%, reflecting a significant improvement in the educational experience of students.
- Compliance with Quality Standards: 100% compliance with technical regulations was achieved, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Continuous Technological Improvement: The university made 20% progress in technological improvement, with the constant updating of its resources and tools, promoting educational innovation.
Conclusion
Ricoh's videoconferencing and collaboration solutions and services have become a fundamental element in eliminating the technological gap in education in Chile, opening the door for more people with limited participation in face-to-face classes to access education remotely.
This strategy not only solved the initial technological challenge, but also positioned the higher education institution as a leader in the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance communication and collaboration, with the sole purpose of preparing its students and faculty for a world of constant change.
