Ricoh Latin America develops its first Innovation Center (RIL) for customers
Adicional, la compañía creó en Costa Rica nuevas áreas de trabajo como la Unidad de Negocio Digital (Inside Sales) y un Share Services de Soporte Remoto para clientes internacionales.
Ricoh Latin America, a Japanese technology company with more than 85 years in the global market, inaugurated this week in Costa Rica the first "Ricoh Innovation Lounge" (RIL) in the region, a Center for Innovation and Co-Creation of Technological Solutions.
The "Ricoh Innovation Lounge" aims for customers to immersively experience Ricoh's technology and "co-create" and co-build the solutions they need to accelerate their digital adoption; and thus increase their productivity, profitability and competitive advantage in today's markets.
The RIL center was presented at the inauguration event of the new Ricoh Costa Rica offices, in which the company has invested approximately $800,000.00 USD and represents the company's vision for digital workspaces.
Hernán Quirós, General Manager of Ricoh Costa Rica, commented "We are very proud to announce the first "Ricoh Innovation Lounge" of the region in Costa Rica. We are aware that the great challenge of organizations goes beyond digital transformation, and focuses on human transformation, where people need to boost their potential through technology, so they can collaborate without limits and innovate in processes to grow business.
"These new offices represent the company's vision of digital and collaborative workspaces, where the best solutions are integrated according to the specific needs and challenges of customers," added Quirós.
The new 700 m² offices were designed with high environmental, architectural and engineering standards, with the main objective of maximizing collaboration, productivity and creativity of employees.
Growth in the country
In addition, Ricoh is committed to the growth of business opportunities in Costa Rica. Another major development is the opening of a new digital sales and remote support department that, from the new offices, will serve small and medium customers who aim to boost their sales through digital channels (eBusiness, website, etc.). This new area generated approximately 40 new jobs and provides services to customers in Costa Rica, Latin America and the United States.
"We are sure that Ricoh's great commitment to Costa Rica is also due to the highly qualified workforce we have, and also to the country's great commitment to sustainability, a value that is also in Ricoh's DNA since its incorporation more than 85 years ago," said Quirós.
Ricoh stands out for its ability to support hybrid workforces worldwide through a wide range of solutions. Services span business process management, cybersecurity, graphic communications, cloud solutions and services, infrastructure, as well as enabling workspaces in a hybrid environment.
Finally, on this last point, the company recently announced that it was positioned in Gartner's Magic Quadrant in its External Services for Digital Workspaces 2023 (ODWS) report. This distinction highlights Ricoh as one of the 17 leading companies in the world in this area.
