São Paulo, October 8th, 2024 - Ricoh, the digital services company founded 85 years ago in Japan and present for 52 years in Brazil, today inaugurated its new headquarters in the country, in Alphaville, Barueri, in São Paulo. The event was attended by the President and CEO of Ricoh LATAM, Diego Imperio, and the company's General Manager in Brazil, Andrea Klevenhusen, the first woman to hold this position in the country, who took office last week.
The new headquarters represents an investment of US$1 million and includes the Ricoh Innovation Lounge (RIL), a technology solutions innovation center that aims to enable customers to experience Ricoh technology in an immersive way and “co-create” together the solutions they need to increase their productivity, profitability and competitive advantages in their markets. It is worth noting that this is the fourth RIL that Ricoh LATAM opens in the region.
The new headquarters is also a comfortable, inspiring and collaborative workplace with more than 1,000 square meters, allowing Ricoh Brazil's more than 400 employees to experience first-hand the technological expertise that the company offers its customers. The new headquarters features modern and intelligent meeting rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing solutions, interactive screens and sound equipment that allow employees to connect with team members who are not present in the office and with customers, helping to improve productivity and stimulate innovation.
Ricoh's presence and commitment to Latin America
“We are very proud to inaugurate Ricoh's new headquarters in Brazil, which reinforces our commitment to the country and to LATAM, where we are a leader in digital and print services. We are convinced that in Brazil there are many opportunities to continue collaborating in the digital adoption of the companies that operate here, improving their technological experience and automating their processes, which translates into advances in their efficiency and results,” comments Diego Imperio, President and CEO of Ricoh LATAM.
“I am delighted to inaugurate the new headquarters at the same time as I assume leadership of Ricoh's operations in Brazil. With the new offices, we are also delivering on our priority, which is to optimize work dynamics and the increasingly digital way of working for our customers and also for our employees, whether in person or remotely - but always integrated by technology,” said Andréa Klevenhusen, Ricoh Brazil's new General Manager. Andrea has been with Ricoh for 18 years, where she has held the positions of Marketing Director and Sales Channel Director in Brazil. Prior to assuming the leadership of Ricoh Brazil, she was Director of Channels for all of Latin America.
Ricoh LATAM continues its coverage plan in the region, accelerating the digital adoption of companies in all sectors through a value proposition of digital solutions and services that generate exceptional technological experiences in the workplace, as well as increase the productivity of companies by automating critical business processes. All this, coupled with the contribution to the sustainability objectives of organizations.
One of the most attractive points of Ricoh LATAM's value proposition is the support of its entire portfolio of solutions by Ricoh Managed Services' remote and on-site IT, process and collaboration room managed services, certified experts through 4 strategic centers in Latin America (Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica) to maintain the optimization of the IT, process and collaboration room infrastructure of all companies, regardless of their size.

Innovation in digital services
In its 85-year history, Ricoh has been known for being an innovator and pioneer, for creating new patents on technology equipment such as printers, cameras and displays -- and has applied the same innovative brand to providing services that accelerate the digital adoption of businesses. One of Ricoh's focuses is to promote the best work experience for its customers' employees, whether in-house or in a hybrid or home office model. This is done not only by designing and installing Smart Meeting Rooms, but also by supplying, maintaining and permanently upgrading equipment such as computers, laptops, cell phones and printers, both at company headquarters and at employees' homes.
