Fitness de Altura is a chain of gyms with a presence in many Latin American countries. Currently, it has more than 600 locations, and adds up to around 1.5 million customers. In El Salvador, it began operations in 2019 and now has more than 5 branches distributed in the country.
Its mission is to democratize high quality fitness, making it accessible to all. That is why Smart Fit's facilities have the space and technology necessary to meet the needs of all its students.
The gym chain faced a major challenge in seeking a strategic partner to help them establish themselves in the country. They needed to implement an efficient billing process, comply with tax regulations and continue to expand their operations.
A key aspect of its business model is that customers must subscribe to a membership to access SMART FIT's facilities and enjoy all its benefits. This not only fosters customer loyalty, but also highlights the importance of membership longevity. For users, it is crucial to receive their monthly invoices in a timely manner, thus avoiding delays, late payments and expiration of their subscriptions.
After understanding the customer's processes and business model, Ricoh presents a value proposition that is divided into two stages. In the first: the implementation of digital invoicing or electronic invoicing with Ricoh Smart Flow to subscribers, which incorporates the Altura Fitness invoicing system, allowing the issuance of high quality printed invoices with Ricoh's smart multifunctional devices and, at the same time, the sending of these invoices digitally to each subscriber. At the same time, the information generated is uploaded and stored in the Smart Document Control document manager for backup and future reference.
Likewise, the second stage of the project is the implementation of electronic invoicing to issue tax documents digitally to be sent to the Ministry of Finance, complying with the requirements requested by this governmental institution whose purpose is to manage the financial administration of the state.
