International Women's Day 2025: Ricoh LATAM inspires to accelerate action for gender equality
Ricoh celebrated International Women's Day (IWD) through a series of global and regional events that reinforce its commitment to accelerating action to achieve gender equality.
Weston, March 13th, 2025 – Ricoh celebrated International Women's Day (IWD) through a series of global and regional events that reinforced its commitment to accelerating action to achieve gender equality, and building an environment where all people, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities to grow and lead. "Currently, there is a certain perception that gender equality has already been achieved, especially because women have assumed increasingly prominent roles in society, leading companies, governments, and fields such as science and technology (STEM). However, reality shows us that there is still a long way to go. That is why at Ricoh LATAM we reiterate our commitment to accelerate change through programs, initiatives, and daily actions that generate a real and lasting impact," explains Lorna Hernández, Vice President of Human Resources at Ricoh LATAM.
As part of this commitment, Ricoh LATAM held the Ricoh International Women's Day Global Symposium 2025: #AcceleratingAction, an event in Puerto Rico and broadcast virtually that brought together global leaders, both women and men, to share strategies and perspectives that drive meaningful transformation within and outside organizations.
At the event, featured panelists laid out the challenges we still face and explored what we can do, as leaders, to accelerate action and forge equality for women, building a more equitable future together. The event represented a great opportunity to generate dialogue, inspire change and reinforce the purpose of promoting gender equality in the corporate world and beyond.
