The new latex inks Ricoh ProTM L5160 awarded by Buyers Lab

The device offers a record speed in its class and a highly competitive printing cost.

Keypoint Intelligence - Buyers Lab has recognized Ricoh's innovative ability once more. The new Wide format latex ink Ricoh Pro L5160 (configured with double CMYK) has won the 2020 Pick Award in the CMYK industrial printer category with 1.5 m ecosolvent/latex-based inks.

The Ricoh Pro L5160 has been developed in response to the needs of printers and forward-thinking visual communication companies, which demand more versatility in job types (whiter CMYK), faster production of short runs, and higher productivity (CMYK). The device features three tiered high-speed printheads, improved injection technology, fast-drying latex ink, and a record speed in its class: 46.7 sqm/h in standard outdoor mode and 25 sqm/h in standard indoor mode, with 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution.
